Send to Jakarta !!!

Last monday, I brought my mac to Apple's Dealer in Jogja (whic I bought it last year). I'v complained about its display. But 2 weeks before, I've already brought my mac at that place because my logic board has already arrived. Well most of us know that the weakness of the Core Duo MacBook Pro is the heat. It's very disturb me. It could getting hotter and hotter.

My friend who has the same type of mac told me that the heat is the weakness of ours. Even we change the logic board, it doesn't change the heat. And it's true. It doesn't change anything that I complained.

One problem with my mac was its display started to flick. I have this problem since the first time I bought it. I didn't realize it because I thought it usual but suddenly I started to ask the marketing and she said that it's unusual. Then I tried to looking for the information about this and complained that the technician didn't check it carefully when he replaced the logic board. When the other of my friend told me that I must send it to Jakarta, I agree with him. Because it will checked properly with the technician in the center.

The question is how long will it take .. ? I hope not 1 month ..

It's still my problem

it's almost 6 month I use my macbook pro and I dunno why its temperature always disturbed me. I tried to claimmy notebook but unfortunately the Apple's Dealer in my town always said, "There are still a lot of notebook to do. We have benn waiting for the new technician but he will come in Early on January 2007." Well I have been waiting for the technician for almost 2 month since November 2006. So Imust be patience (again) ..

It happen when I worked with my MBP everyday for hours. When the temperature is high, the fan automatically increase its speed. Then I heard a noise from the fan. It sounds like there's a thing inside one of the fan and makes the speed slower than the others.

That was a problem and I still hope that the temperature could decrease than usual .. It isn't comfortable ..

Hmmm .. ..

It's very usefull and now my MBP is cold .. Before I use it,I always got the 80 degrees Celcius on my MacBook Pro. It's very hot and if it happened, I usually restart the notebuk and let it for a few minutes... but unfortunately sometimes I found it as same as before I restarted. Then in the forum discussion, there was user post that link. Then I decided to try it. Well It's work .. !!! Now the temperature is about 45 degrees - 50 degrees ..

there's 2 fan inside my notbuk. Both of them could setted with this software. Hmm and I found some intersting fact. Core 1 is more hot than the core 2... ..

Final Cut Pro 5 an my New RAM

A few days ago, my friend lend me a Final Cut Pro 5 (FCP 5) DVD's. I installed it but unfortunately it said that my hardware haven't 512MB in RAM. Well it's make me sad because I need it ASAP (as soon as possible) to recorded sound for my mom. And I thaught that I must upgrade my RAM even I have another opinion that it didin't need it for now.

Then, I decided to post a thread in mailing-list for Mac-User to look some opinion or reference for the type or merk that I must buy if one day I want buy it. Fortunate , there was an user that want to sold his RAM because he had bought another RAM for his MacBook Pro. Yesterday, he replied me and post the answer in mailing-list. And that day, I read it. Maybe yesterday was may lucky day, he replied again it meaned that he online now. So I ask for a good price for me and for him. Then I asked for suggestion to my friend. And surprised, my friend told me to bought it because maybe it was a good chance.

well then, I made some appionment with him and decided to meet him in Gedung Pusat UGM at the North Side. I have never think about it so until now I still don't believe that I have already have 1GB RAM in my MacBook Pro. I thaught that it's once chance in my life. I bought a new RAM with the low price.

And finally, The FCP 5 is officially installed .. !!

MAMP

After a month I always look for the best way to configure Apache, PHP, and MySQl, I found that MAMP can resolve it. Well it's true .. MAMP or Macintosh, Apache, MySQL, and PHP .. Although I knew from the beginning that MAMP can resolve all my confused, I prefer to look for the problem of MySQl in my mac ..

Now I can work in Mac to do my assignment for BUMD Jogja .. :D

Today

Today with my friend, I went to my college to looked for some schedule for the next term. Then Iwent to my new college (Sanata Dharma). I forgot about the date to pick the schedule for the study. I ask then I must pick it up tomorrow.

Okay, no problem. Then I asked my friend to bought salad at carefour. We went there and bought it. Well, it was make me a little dissapoint. because with the price ant the taste, it's a little bit expensive from Pizza Hut. I like the taste of dressing in pizza hut.

well .. then I went to the boarding house of my friend. A little talk then I went home...

Soooo tired ..

Long Time

Well I want to write everyday about my activity but unfortunately I must do all the assignment with my client in BUMD Jogja. And Now, I have a little time towrite here again although just for a few minute.

In Mac, I can configure PHP, Apache, and MySQL. But I found some difficulties when I tried to integrate the Apache and PHP with the MySQL. It seems there was a problem with the configuration in socket. So it's make me stop to configure it because needs lot of time to looking for the reference from Internet. Then, I decide to work in Wind*ws again when the configuration isn't completed.
