Here I am

Haa .. It's been awhile since the last time I posted here. So here I am. Graduated from my university, now I'm working in this big city, metropolitan city, or maybe polluted city, famous with its crowd and crime (well I hope it's describe New York City but no it isn't). Yes of course, it's the capital city of Indonesia. I'm in Jakarta now *tadaaaaaaa*

I've been working here since September 2008. Still haven't found what I'm looking for but it's nice. I'm quite happy be part of this capital city. Until when i'll be here hang on to its lifestyle and 'the jungle-rule', well, that's the question that I always ask to myself .. Hahahha ..

Good to be back here .. But I guess I need something new on the 'header' .. I'll figure out later .. Got back to work .. But hey, it's already FRIDAY .. So it means tomorrow is my private day .. :D

GoS

A few days ago, I read from a forum which I usually read that Google launched GoS (Google Operating System). It still beta but when I saw the screen capture, I wonder what 'the magic' inside. Then, I asked my friend to downloaded it because its capacity more than 500MB but less than 600MB. Enough for just 1 CD.





I forgot to capture its screenshot in my notebook so I taken the picture from its official website. When I installed GoS, its interface just like ubuntu. And when everything had done, I tried to update then I knew that it was ubuntu base .. debian's core .. heuheuehue
just like my Gutsy Gibbon in my other PC but with Mac interface. When I saw its interface for the first time, I felt very pity because a few days before, I tried to configured my ubuntu's interface like Leopard's but until now I still can't find what the misatakes. But with GoS, I don't have to configure anymore .. .hueheuheuee .. .. .

I read from its website that in Mac, it required VMware Fusion. But I've already installed Parallel Desktop, so I tried to install it under parallel. It worked well at the beginning but when I wanted to change its screen resolution became 1440 x 900, it didn't work. The first thought that maybe it didn't support SVGA (in parallel desktop). I wonder to try to install in VMware Fusion. Hope I can tell you later .. ...

Today

Today with my friend, I went to my college to looked for some schedule for the next term. Then Iwent to my new college (Sanata Dharma). I forgot about the date to pick the schedule for the study. I ask then I must pick it up tomorrow.

Okay, no problem. Then I asked my friend to bought salad at carefour. We went there and bought it. Well, it was make me a little dissapoint. because with the price ant the taste, it's a little bit expensive from Pizza Hut. I like the taste of dressing in pizza hut.

well .. then I went to the boarding house of my friend. A little talk then I went home...

Soooo tired ..

My Day

this day i'm not very well in my mood .. yeah I'm very2 in the bad mood condition today .. I'm very tired and very bored with a lot of my assignment this week. So I decide to find something that can make my mood back. Yesterday, I was download some game in gamehouse and all of this day I try to finish all the chapter .. And it's done .. nice games I thought ..

Next Monday, DUta Wacana will start the final exam for this smester. SO this week I still try to make my mood in good condition.

Hope that I can do the exam very well ..

The Journey at S'pore ~part2~

sorry if I post the blog needed a very long time .. cos' I have to do a lot assignment although I have a holiday now .. okey back to the journey

.::Day 2::.

woke up at 6 AM in for me it's very late to had a breakfast in hotel. If we lated to went to restaurant, sometimes the restaurant was very crowd. Then after we had a breakfast, we went to saw the orchard road before left to Changi's Airport.

In CHangi's Airport, there was a lot of shop and the price was quite cheaper than in Indo. hmmmm ... but unfortunately, I don't have enough money to bought something ..

We flighted to Indo by Garuda Indonesia (again) and unfortunately it was a hard rain in Jogjakarta. It was very2 scared because before we landed in Adisucipto's Airport, the aeroplane was not fly very well. Very2 bad rain .. !!!!

And thank's GOD, I could touch my Jogjakarta again after we were in the bad condition.

The Journey at S'pore ~part1~

Last sunday (April, 9th 2006), I was go to S'pore. I called it "The Journey" because it was the first time I went abroad in my life. I taught it was very excited and it was. I went there with my mom 'cause I just accompanied my mom went to exhibition.

.::Day 1::.

Sunday at 6 AM, I woke up and prepare for the last time before I went to Adisucipto's Airport. We went there by Garuda Indonesia Airlines which destination Yogyakarta - Singapore (so we shouldn't transit in Soekarno-Hatta's Airport).

We were arrived about at 10 AM o'clock (s'pore time). In Changi, we must reconformed with Garuda Airlines in CHangi for the flight when we went back to Indonesia again. After that, we went to hotel for check in. We stayed in Phoenix Hotel in Orchard Road.

S'pore is the nice place. It's a small country but it's very clean (although they have a lot skyline's building like in Jakarta). When I went there, there's a lot of people. It looks like people went to S'pore for vacation because in Malaysia there's a week vacation for "Maulud Nabi's Day" (it's national holiday).

okey .. back to me and my mom :) .. after check in, we went to Suntec Exhibition to saw the Dental Exhibition.
Take the ID card and went up to 6th Floor and we were at the exhibition. This event called IDEM (international Dental Meeting and Exhibition). Just like computer exhibition, many manufacture and supplier sold the product here, and showed some new technology material, or kind of the dental chair's unit and the compresor. A big exhibition huh .. we needed a map to reached what we wanted.

then after 5 PM, we went back to hotel to rest for a while then prepare the plan what the next journey. I want to look for an apple centre in orchard. Before I went to S'pore, one of my friend at Jakarta told me the place that I could visit. It was in the Wheelock Place which there was an apple centre. We went there on foot.

Then My mom asked me if I want some ice cream. We bought 2 ice cream. My mom wanted a pepermint choco ice cream and I wanted a mocca ice cream. The price wast 1 dollar for 1 ice cream. hmmm it's 5600 rupiah. And it's quite delicious :)

After from Apple centre, we continued the journey in Talashimaya. There was a bookstore calles Kinokuniya. Then I found a Jabber's Book :) and I bought it. The book is good because I need the information inside its book.

back to the hotel and it was very tired. BUt I'm happy that I could see the other country beside Indonesia.

Prepare to go to S'pore

long time not to say in my bLOG huh ..

well this week I'm very busy .. I'm going to go to S'pore on Sunday April, 9th 2006 to accompany my mom in IDEM Singapore 2006's Exhibition .. just one day .. IDEM is International Dental Exhibition and Meeting .. it's always held every 2years and always in the same place, Singapore .. It's like seminars or workshop for all dentist around the world .. at this years, I'm going to go with my mom .. and of course, it's my first time for me go abroad ..

so tired when I sign up a pasport for the first time .. When my mom and my dad signed up the pasport for the first time, the travel helped them .. but with a little bit expensive price ..

My dad told me that I must read the map and the guide book carefully .. he said that I wouldn't get lost because the information is very complete ..
yeah hope that true ..

The First Posting in Here

This is my first post in this BLOG. soo .. I don't know what must I write here.. still confuse .. hehehe ..

This day I went to computer shop with my best friend. I'm looking for an apple's notebook. I just want to know how much its cost in rupiah not in US dollar. I still confuse which notebook that will I buy..
